hi i have bought a standrive and I am stuck at adjusting the clutch settings the car drives pretty well going up gears but when it comes to down shifting the engine needs to be revved up by the accelerator or the back diff has to bring the revs up and this causes a backlash from the diff .it has actually locked the back wheels up once
I have read on the forums that you have the factory settings for the standrive .
Would it be possible to email me a copy of them I have a manual but it is only for the manual clutch
hopefully donny

Get yourself a copy of the factory workshop manual; it's all in there, along with lots of other useful information!

i was just asking a general question in the hope that I would get some info I already have the workshop manual but it only has the manual clutch. i did see a post from one of the webmaster Administrators that they had the factory settings for the standrive, it must just be a adjustment to one of the cables but im afraid if i mess about with the cables i might lose the setting i have and i dont understand the function of the grey box that the cables go to ??

Unfortunately it's not in all the Workshop manuals. It appears to have been added from the 9th edition whereas most of the Workshop manuals on the market are earlier editions. However Donny, if you are a Standard club member I have a service instruction supplement which you can have. Send me a personal message with your club number etc & we can take it from there. Regards Pete Foster
