The colour is called "Coffee" and the shade of white is "Nimbus White". The coffee colour was used on Standards & Triumphs from 1958 through to 1963.

After contacting a few paint suppliers, they are still not able to find the exact colour. Would any one know the paint code for this coffee colour please. Thank you. Ade

I've got an aerosol made up by my local paint factor & the label on the tin says Rover under car make & then has an ICI Belco code of PO303246A for the Coffee colour. I've also got a tin of paint that came with the car which also states Rover as the make of car but it doesn't have a paint code on it. The Valentine paint code was 23981, which also might help your paint supplier.

Look up the International Triumph Spitfire database website (spitlist.info). Down the left hand side of their homepage is a link to a Triumph paint code chart. This has a good many Standard paints listed (including some unique to the Sportsman model, which is how I found the site). Against "coffee" (recorded as being used on Herald, Vanguard and Atlas) are paint codes for three manufacturers, including ICI. The latter is 3246, which are the last 4 digits of Pete's ICI code above. No complete guarantee that these are the right codes for you of course.
