I'm arranging a Sunday lunch get-together with some other Standard Club members at The Royal Oak Corsley, near Longleat

Sorry if this seems a bit far from the New Forest, I'm also posting on the Bristol Group, being almost exactly half way between the two of you! If you fancy a scenic drive the road that runs parallel to the A36 from Wilton through all the villages is good, but I'd recommend having a navigator!
