For my sins I was drafted earlier this year to look for a few cars to support the fair. this quest blossomed out to a full scale 100yrs of transport Parade and show. On 18th June (Father Day) at 11am I shall be setting off the following items through the little South Staffordshire village of Kinver 1 Town Crier. 2 Blood Motorcycle outriders 3 Combined ATC bands 1 Police Cadet Troop 1 Shire horse dray 1 Clydesdale Dray 1 Fire Engine 1 1919 Fire Cart 38 Cars from 1917-2017 10 motor cycles 1919-2010 6 veteran pedal cycles 1 1958 van 2 1950s lorries 2 Tractors ('50s Fergies of course) 1 float another ATC Band I could potentially have over cooked the pudding!!! We think it should take around 30 minutes to pass through the village to the show ground. Once they arrive at the show ground I think I'll be "herding ducks" to get them into all line for the display. If you fancy a good day out for the whole family, please feel free to pop along and support us raising pennies for charity. The whole village is the venue with music stalls and celebrations in the streets and 2 meadows full of events, food, shows, jousting knights on horses, archery, songs & dance, Tea, Beer, Prosecco & fun. If you book ahead you can save £1 per adult. Have a look on www.kinvercountryfayre.comSmilalot Mark
