This is always the first date to be added to our calendar on the kitchen wall when we get it each New Year. An informal gathering of pre-war cars, with un-timed runs up the hill; there is always plenty to see and it provides a good opportunity to meet with like-minded 'Mr Toads'. I had three runs up the hill in the Big 9, which I timed with the stopwatch on my wrist watch. The best run was 1'59", which is very good for my car. I also met up with Steve O'Hara, Stem Smeltzer and others. Look out for my car at 1'09" on this video, with a photo below: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgcijhqAyuUThis is certainly an event which is worth attending for anyone with an interest in pre-war cars.
