Can anybody help please, I have obtained a spare engine for my 1934 Tickford 12 and cannot identify it. The spare engine has an average bore size of 64.67 with + 60 thou marked on the pistons and a stroke of 106. The gearbox that was on it appears to have 3 gears. Thanks for your help

Is there a number stamped on the engine. Most probably A SIX digit number commencing with a 1.

Can't spot one, any idea where it could be, also as a possible clue it does not have the horizontal oil gallery access that my old 12 engine has.

NA prefix was for the postwar 4/8A engines I thought, but the dimensions you have given do not match that engine the FR stands for factory refurbished if I remember correctly. I am probably totally wrong on all counts. Richard
