The Standard Car Review during Lockdown
Presently our Printers are working and we hope to produce the next Club magazine on May 1st. Thereafter the situation is less clear. If the printers run out of supplies or are unable to work, we may be forced to adopt Plan B. This means that we would produce an electronic version which we would email to as many members who have registered their email address with the Club. If you havn’t registered your email address, or if you are unsure the Club has your current address, please send an email to membership@standardmotorclub.org.uk stating your name, email address and Membership number if you have it. If you don’t have an email, you could give us that of a relative or friend. If you don’t do this we will have no email to which to send the magazine. Phil

Sounds like a plan!!
I am sure this has already been thought of and put into place but I will mention it anyway, but I think a bold notice in the May 1st edition basically saying what you have said above to ensure your "capture" as many email addresses as possible would be a good move.
A big thanks to all involved in getting the magazine out, I am sure that more than ever members who are locked down/isolating will appreciate the magazine when it drops through the letter box.

Thanks for your comments and sorry for the late reply. Our printers have been working under lockdown with a skeleton staff but I've been able to send the artwork 10 days early so that the mag is only slightly delayed. The July issue, I hope, will be more or less on time.
