Some great cars there, and obviously the collector had a penchant for estate/woodie versions. I particularly like the Minx with the 1.8 Ford diesel and the various eras of Morris Oxford estate/woodie. It will be interesting to see the results as an idea of where the market is at the moment.

Yes I agree. I did have a look around on the site but couldn't see any results from previous auctions, so we may never know. Anglia Car Auctions do publish their results, this is a link to the results of the August Classic Auction: angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic/results/sat-22nd-sun-23rd-august/There was a rough but honest looking 50's 8 that went for £950 and a 1A Vanguard went for £7685

Thanks for putting that link up - it still seems to be the case that there are plenty of buyers for the "usual" stuff. MGBs and Land Rovers performed well, but the Armstrong Siddeley and the pre farina Morris Oxford look to be genuine bargains.
They do have a results section on CCA, in fact it goes back to 2015.
With so much "no reserve" unusual stuff at next weeks sale I wonder if it will mean even lower prices.

Agreed. I’m an estate fan, very drawn to the Mk1 Triumph 2000 estate and the Mk 2 Cortina GT Estate. I had one of those and a Savage V6 Estate in the early 80’s. More cars I should never have sold!

From the results it looks like prices are still fairly strong.
