Hi. To anyone that can help me please. When I was a young 17 year old in 1957, 51 years ago, I owned a Standard Avon Sports Special vintage 1934 with a registration number ALB 504. I purchased this car for the princely sum of £50 and regrettably sold it two years later for £10. I have often wondered what could have happened to this car which I had so much fun driving with non existant brakes and sloppy steering. I would be so grateful if any of your membership might know what became of ALB 504. I have two black & white photos of myself posing with this car in 1957 which I would gladly email to anyone that may be interested. I look forward to receiving a reply. Regards John Chipchase. irene_john@hotmail.com

Hi, Send an email to mermbership@standardmotorclub.org.uk and will see if it appears in historic records. Chances are slim but there may be some info there. Regards Ian.
