Hi there, I am also interested in the Standard saloon on the left; from the registration, can anyone identify the model, is it a Falmouth, Fulham or Teignmouth? Regards Brian

The saloon on the left of the picture is a 1929 Teignmouth, that is known about, and is in long term secure storage in the Liverpool area.
The original picture shows the burnt out remains of the original Coventry Cathedral in the background. Both cars were in the city to attend the 1963 Standard Register Rally which was held at the factory.

The car on the left is a 1930 Standard Avon 9HP Special and is now in the Wirral.

Remember seeing the Bentley powered Avon at a Bentley Drivers Club meeting at Silverstone in the 1960's. In fact I have it on 8mm cine film.
