Hello Thomas, I have a book titled Post War Standards which covers the period you are interested in. Did you know that there was a Vanguard 2 in the Monte in 1953, and that a Vanguard 2 was used as a film crew car for the Tulip Rally and Rally de Alpes. Standard Ten cars were in both the latter rallies. The book is for sale and I also have brochures of the Vanguard 3 and road tests. I also have a scale model if you would like that also. A Club member has an Estate Vanguard 3 which was used by Standard as a film crew car and it is still in Standard Triumph colours. Regards Ian.

Hello again Thomas, Have just looked at your car on your website and very smart it looks. You may be aware that that model was used by the armed forces for officer transport. I note that yours is a left hand drive though, but it could be an ex military perhaps. I have fan belts and oil filters available should you need for maintenance. Also full workshop manual, drivers instruction book and spare parts manual. Regards Ian. To join the Club simply click on the link in the Introduction. Do not worry about the language we will sort out anything you want. Regards Ian.
