iPad land is a strange place. I found the best thing to do was use a combination of the iPad Drop Box app, and the Drop Box webpage. Use the webpage to upload the photo from your photo album to your Dropbox profile. Then use the app to open the picture. When its open, click the "square with an arrow pointing out of it" icon. Then chose"copy link". This creates a link, which you can open using the webpage. when you have it open(it comes up in a separate tab), click the web-address bar, "select all", then "copy". Then paste into your thread reply. Make sense? I presume Photo Bucket is a similar palaver, but that works for DropBox.

Apple products and classic cars have a lot in common- we might love them, but don't always understand them!

I have opened a photo bucket and tried to copy and paste the link but it just won't hilight the IM link to paste in thread. any ideas? regards Ronnie. It's frustrating, but do-able - I was using an iPad when I loaded your photo's onto the site. There's a way of putting the cursor on the IMG box and tweaking the screen with your finger so the cursor stays where it is, but a black box appears. If you hit select all it highlights the IMG link - hit the screen again and you should be able to click onto copy. The n come back to your thread on here, hit the screen in the place you want the text and you should be able to click on the copy box where you hit the screen and voila - the link appears. Post the thread and the image should appear. Much easier than I've made it sound....

Hello, I would love to post a photo or two and i have very carefully read all the "how to post photos" instructions, hints, and tips several times but am not able to use them due to some rather odd brain damage i sustained during open heart surgery some years ago. I can manage everything else in life but am quite unable to follow instructions. I can talk about and discuss them in a rational lucid way but still not be able to implement them. Very odd. If some kind person could list each step involved, in a 1 to 10 type format, perhaps with photobucket, l could print them out and check them off as i hopefully accomplish them. I can manage one thing at a time but a cascade of instructions is impossible. And if i still cant manage it maybe my wife could.. Thanks in advance for any help with this. Brian in Atlanta.
