Having given this a couple of days of mulling over, I have decided that it will be best to no longer be posting responses on this forum. It never was my intention to continue to antagonise Johndoc and get into any suggestion of reference to ...thick Paddies... etc. in exchange for references to holes in backsides. Not my style - which I like to think I left behind when I started working.
I have tried to offer contributions and opinions on here which are of course always open to challenge, and that is the way it should be. The way in which these contributions are written however should not be open to criticism or advice given on the written word - not in my book anyway.
John, if I have offended you by again making reference in another post to the importance of ensuring battery housing safety, which you seem to take rather personal, then I apologise. It would seem that another poster agrees with your sentiments, so I guess I must be in the wrong.
I have plenty of things to occupy my time to good effect and I now tend to do that in good company where potential offence is not traded and I am fortunate to be able to choose how I do that. It's strange, but I am lucky enough to be able to claim I have a number of Irish friends and acquaintances and we exchange and respect opinions freely as well as having some good banter.
So my choice is to discontinue posting on here. However, if anyone feels I can help then I am happy to be contacted by message, if the administrators consider this acceptable.
Enjoy your motoring and the continued use of the form.
My kind regards as usual.
Gareth.
