The Club has a display outside the Flying Standard pub, near Broadgate and Holy Trinity church in the city centre this weekend as part of the amazing Coventry MotoFest. There is still room on the stand if any Club member wishes to bring a Standard for display. Just send me an email to my address in the Review and I'll send all the details from the organisers and a link to a map of the city showing road closures for the event. Particularly if you have a Flyer it's the best place in the country to show your car, in the city where it was built and by a pub sign with a Flying Standard on it. Saturday is the best day to see the Club display as on Sunday many of us will be going to Churchill Car Show near Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds. We hope to have about 10 cars on the Saturday, including a 1936 A10,1936 Flying 16 with Avon body,1937 Flying Light 12,1939 Flying 8,1948 4/8A,1952 Vanguard Estate and several 1950s 8s and 10s. On Sunday we'll have fewer cars but are hopeful of having a 1957 Companion,a 1934 12 and a 1939 Flying 8. Peter Lockley Club Chairman
