Hello everyone,
Once again the CCCC meeting was a great success, with in excess of 30 fine classic cars of all makes turning up.
The following SMC members were present:
Mike Wilks with his 1963 Standard 10 pickup. Billy Walsh with his 1959 Standard 10 saloon Myself (Richard Bradley) with my 1955 Standard 10 saloon. Tony and Muriel Brooks (Their Standard 9 currently being restored)
Rob and Rebecca Camber - This time in their 1954 Morris Minor (split screen) saloon, but last time came in their 1954 Standard 8.
My dynamo packed up on the way to the meeting, but thankfully there was enough charge in the battery to get me home. Hopefully it is just the brushes, but failing that if anyone has a good Lucas C39 PV2 dynamo for sale, please let me know.
These meetings are very interesting and friendly events, so please feel free to join us. Our meetings now move to the first Friday of the month at 7:00pm for the summer months. The next one is on Friday 3rd April, still at the Reservoir.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Best regards,
Richard
