Hi All, have got a pair of clutch facings that need riveted on, is there a tool to do this or is there some other way of riveting them together? thanks, Alan.

Hi, There used to be a hand punch available for these rivets, although I doubt if anyone sells them these days. If you can find a company that has one of the foot presses for brake linings this would do the job properly. I did once use the punch for the press studs on convertible hoods for brake rivets which worked quite well. Put the rivet through the hole, then rest the head on a bolt or something else roughly the same size as the rivet head,in a vice, and give the punch a sharp tap with a hammer. You will find you need three hands so an assistant is helpful. Regards,Steve
