This is really the most important rally event in the Club programme. The sad fact is that only 10% of members do attend. I talk to many members during the year and they all have their own "valid" reasons why they cannot attend. However as it is such a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow owners and compare notes, and meet the people who you will undoubtedly need help from sooner or later why not make it a MUST COME event. In 2004 we took the opportunity to involve our 5 year old twin grandchildren in the International Rally and they enjoyed the experience. So this year we did the same again. It was good to see other children there also and involve them in this hobby. They always say that they like to go in Grandads old car, however a friend of ours used the other definition recently so sometimes it becomes Grandads old banger. It was good to see those of you that did attend and was able to talk to, and help with those elusive parts and books. Also I appreciate you purchasing Regalia items which help publicise the Standard name. So next year make a resolution TO ATTEND THE INTERNATIONAL RALLY. You know it makes sense.
