Does anyone have any experience of fitting three point belts to their Standard? I have a 47 year old Ten, and a three year old Boy (standard model with runny nose and cheeky attitude). I love both dearly but they are a little incompatible. I have lap belts in the rear but they aren't that safe for an active child (and there is not one seat available in the UK that is approved for them). So:
Is it possible to fit three point belts (I assume the answer is yes)? Back or front - what have you tried and what worked best? Where did you get them fitted? And how much should I expect to pay?
Thanks

Hi. I hope someone with experience of this picks this item up. I do know that some of our competition drivers have done this but only in the front. I believe it is illegal to have young children in the front in a forward facing position. ie only in the front as a baby in a rearward facing baby seat. Just a suggestion, have not tried it yet but go on ebay and type in search "motor sports" then "equipment" , or try "seat belts". You will be surprised what does turn up. I have a contact who may be able to help if this is not successful but he is not on line so a phone call or letter is required. Regards Ian
