Just before Christmas I managed to purchase XV9893, a 1929 fabric bodied Teignmouth that I was associated with back in 1965. It was sold to Pam Ayres for the princley sum of £150 and she kept it until 1969. I am no stranger to Standard cars or the Standard Motor Club having owned the 1931 Little 9 that went on to Tony Pingriff. I would like to get in touch with other Teignmouth owners as there are a few niggles with my car and some TLC is required. Anyone out there? Please e-mail on colinc@mcmullensystems.co.uk. Thanks Colin Clatworthy

Hi Colin, Tony Pingriff will have a list of Teignmouth owners and (provided you are a current Club Member) he will be able to supply contact details. Owners are normally only too pleased to talk about their cars and help but as many of that car age group are not on computer you may have to use the phone system. Hope this has been of help. Regards Ian.

Hi Colin,
Certainly, it seems like your car has an interesting history. If you would like to send me an article and lots of photos (digital preferred) I would gladly feature your Teignmouth on the Website. I look forward to hearuing from you
Kind regards Phil Homer webmaster@standardmotorclub.org.uk
