This is my 'local' show, or it would be if I did not live 100 miles from 'home'. I shall be taking the '54 Fergie and the '55 Standard and I'm wondering if I'll be the only Standard at the show this year. Last year there was a very nice Vanguard pick up in the commercials section, and there have been a couple of other Standards in the cars section over the years.
It's a popular show, always over-subscribed but if anyone really fancies it drop me a PM and I'll pass on the car steward's details. You would be expected to attend for all of both days, and camping/caravaning is available on site if you're that way inclined. Entries need to be in by the end of March but don't leave it to the wire if you're interested, space is limited for cars and some get turned away every year.
You can expect probably 30+ traction engines, steam rollers etc., fairground rides, vintage tractors, cars, lorries, fairground organs, craft tents, trade stalls, food, beer, lots of people and hopefully some sunshine (though that bit is not guaranteed). It's always a good show and since I'm not going to make any club events this year, it would be nice to see one or two of you here instead!
