Perhaps the Seatle Times would be interested in some guy who imported a 50 year old Standard from England. There must be a story there!

Hmm...perhaps there is a story to be told about "Cillas" trip to the USA! Be sure to check the "Local" button on the Seattle Times website. It looks like they moved the Panama story from the front page. Walt

 Hi Walt, I think the old gent deserves a congretional medal for that trip. I find it is expensive enough here in England just driving to work and the supermarket! I hope you and "Cilla" are now bonding OK keep us informed. Tina

HI Tina and all:
Cilla and I are doing fine together. We spent the past weekend making small trips around town while there was a break in our record-setting rains. We're also spending some quality garage time together with odd bits under the bonnet & elsewhere. She's a very well taken care of old car. I will continue the work. Cheers, Walt

Hi Walt. Sorry about delays in your items. The exhaust company are not responding to my request for a price to send front pipe to USA. The company dod not seem very interested in supplying up initially anyway with mild steel systems and offered no discounts. The stainless steel company have been first class in their service. I will keep trying. The fleece will be send after 13th Feb as it is part of a quantity loaned to our Chairman for a Club display and I will not seee him until then to retrieve. Will then send your other items also. Regards Ian.
