I own a Fire pump Trailer for the Standard Gwynne, fire pump. It was used at the D. Napier & Sons Works Fire Brigade, I bought to carry a Coventry Climax Pump that I have restored, but have decided that it would be better to have the right pump, can anyone please help, ?
I have nearly finished the restoration of the trailer, Not sure how to add picture.

When I had a Standard Gwynne Fire Pump plus trailer. All my spares including a pump went to the Standard Motor Club. There was no engine with it but most of the framework the engine basically was a Flying Eight unit.

The Trailers, were made by Brigg's Motor Bodies Ltd, at Dagenham. In the 30's all Ford Dagenham cars were bodied next door by Briggs. By the mid 30's they also included Austin, Riley, Standard, Jowett, & others as customers. During WW2, Briggs manufactured parts for the De Havilland Mosquito, and operated for the Government making items such as Jerry Cans and Helmets (All pressed steel products).
