1938 to 2008 To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the first Standard Flying Eight we are holding a Rally on August 9th 2008 at Beaulieu Motor Museum in the New Forest. Sorry I seemed to have missed your car and yourself at the InternationaL rally. I don't seem to have seen any publicity in the media for the Powderham Rally as you said you would try to do as the Club's P.R.O. Is none of the media interested in our events? Kind Regards , Brian

As I said to you on the telephone I issue many press releases every week. Some hit home first time.. As I have friends in the press I have asked them why this is. Among the replies have been Computers re email are set in some cases to reject any enclosures such as photos extracts etc(attachments) Often they get reports from the actual organizers of the show which may not be our Club. I hope you will still keep sending in reports to me though.
