i am about to sell my deceased Fathers standard 10, this was a project of his that was never finished and is something that i am not going to carry on with. i am after a estimate on its value so that i can advertise it for sale. the car has sat in a garage now for around five years and has not had a battery atttached. The paintwork has been rubbed down ready for a re-spray. i beieve the inside has been left untouched (i will confirm either tommomrow or the next day). i need to get a car battery to run the engine over but to my knowledge the car ran fine that last time my father turned it over. here are the cars details: Standard 10 REG: UDH 481 HP:948 YEAR:12.1.55 COMMISION NO:BE11922DC ENGINE NO:BE11719E SALOON EXT COLOUR:GREY INT COLOUR: BLUE not MOT'd IF someone could give me an estimate of its vlaue i would be greatly appretiative. many thanks james

Hi James. Recently several of these cars which are not up and running have struggled at £300 on ebay. It may be worth advertising in our Club magazine where you will reach 750 owners and someone may be looking for a winter restoration. If you check out the interior and can start the car it will help to sell faster. Before starting use the starting handle BEFORE TURNING IGNITION ON to pump oil into the cylinders as they will be dry and could be siezed. Put a further message here and then decide the next move. Regards Ian.
